A long two-lane driveway fringed by swaying palm trees leads into the compounds of this quaint, old-style resort motel by the beach. Resembling a pre-war bungalow that might have well housed a prominent tycoon or colonialist decades ago, it is a unique and rare setting for a hospitality enterprise. Guests who desire an alternative style of lodging from downtown’s standard offerings can choose among 50 motel rooms or 15 standalone chalet suites (with kitchen facilities).
